Seeweed Extract

Seaweed is a 100% organic product extracted from selected fresh brown algae from the sea. Extracts of seaweed are applied to promote growth, prevent pests and diseases, and improve the quality of the products. 

Benefits of Seaweed Extract:

1. Trace elements found in organic seaweed fertilizers include magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, and nitrogen, all of which are beneficial to plant growth.
2. For example, the creation of nitrate, a crucial component required by plants during photosynthesis, depends on nitrogen.
3. A liquid seaweed solution promotes additional budding if applied as the plants are beginning to bud.
4. It extends the shelf life of fruits and vegetables if applied 10 days before harvesting.
5. Seaweed extract also boosts crop yields, improves the resistance of plants to frost and disease, increases the uptake of inorganic constituents from the soil, bolsters resistance to stress conditions, and reduces storage losses of fruits.

How to use seaweed extract powder:

• Foliar spray: Mix 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of seaweed extract powder with 1 gallon (4 liters) of water.
• Soil drench: Mix 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of seaweed extract powder with 1 gallon (4 liters) of water.

Frequency:

• Foliar spray: Apply once every week or two during the growing season.
• Soil drench: Apply once a month during the growing season.
